BFR Halloween volleyball tournament on October 22

Bluffton Family Recreation has announced a Halloween volleyball tournament on October 22 at Southgate Lanes. Costumes are encouraged.

Second session of Youth Track Clinic, Oct. 17-Nov. 17

Bluffton Family Recreation has announced Session 2 of the Youth Track Clinic will run October 17-November 17th.

BFR Blaze of Lights camp registration is open

Registration is open for A Blaze of Lights camp at Bluffton Family Recreation. The one or two day camp takes place during Thanksgiving break. 

Participants can be registered for November 22 or 23rd or both.

  • Before care begins at 7:30 a.m.
  • After care provided until 5:30 p.m.

Campers will get to help design, build, and decorate a float that will be in the Blaze of Lights parade on Saturday, November 26. Participants are invited to ride the float during the parade as well.

Woodworking for ages 5+ at BFR

During Fall Session 2, Bluffton Family Recreation will offer a beginners woodworking class.

The class will involve simple woodworking projects for beginning crafters. Tim and Tom will guide the class through fun projects.

Thursday nights 6-6:45 p.m. October 6-26

The last class will be WEDNESDAY OCTOBER 26 to avoid conflicts with Trick-or-Treat!

Evening childcare resumes at BFR

Evening childcare hours begin this week at Bluffton Family Recreation, 215 Snider Rd. Please note:

  • Childcare reservations must be made 24 hours in advance by phone.

BFR notes, "Get your work out in while the kids play in a safe, structured environment."

BFR youth track clinic on Mondays and Wednesdays

Here's the youth track clinic invitation from Bluffton Family Recreation:

Come and join coach Madalynn, a current Bluffton University track athlete.

Participants will learn the basic fundamentals of track in a fun and positive atmosphere. This program is designed for those ages 7-12.

Cost is $30 for members and $60 for non members
