The clean-up phase of the Feb. 28 flood took center stage Tuesday. The village placed dumpsters on Cherry Street, Railroad Street and Riley Street as residents ripped up carpets and all sorts of ruined furniture and personal belongings, placing them in the dumpsters.

Junior Mychal Hill (London/Jonathan Alder) was selected second team men's basketball All-Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference for the 2010-11 season. It marks Hill's second straight All-HCAC honor. He was a first team selection as a sophomore in 2009-10. Taking home his first All-HCAC award was sophomore Josh Fisher (Rockford/Parkway) who was named honorable mention.
A thin layer of ice formed over the overflowed Buckeye during the night. Flood waters have not entirely returned to normal at the park. The ice creates a reflective look.

While The Icon has averaged between 500 to 600 viewers per day on Feb. 28 The Icon had 3,472 individual viewers. That topped the previous record when a deer walked into a downtown Bluffton bar.
On Nov. 6, 2010, The Icon had 1,477 viewers watch the deer crash through Luke's Bar and Grill window. We thought that was impressive.
So far in 2011 we've experienced 34.3 inches of snowfall. But after a while, who's counting?
Guy Verhoff, Pandora weather observer, released the February weather report. During the second month of the year we had 18.3 inches of snowfall. In January we had 16 inches.
