Icon music review: Five hot songs about coffee

I’d cut down on drinking caffeine, but these songs make me thirsty for more coffee

If my heart stopped at this second, the police would find some change, a health insurance card, and a coupon for a free cup of coffee on my person. My potential demise aside, here are some great songs about my favorite morning beverage. Do you agree? Let the Icon know in the comments!

Et Cetera won't accept donations on Friday due to street work

Due to gas line work on Washington Street near Et Cetera Shop, the street will be closed on Friday, May 21.

Because of that, Et Cetera will not be accepting donations on Friday, according to Chrissy Lugibihl, manager.

Pirate boys 4th in districts after Day 1

Day 1 featured 3 finals events and many qualifying races

FINDLAY - The Bluffton track and field teams competed in the first day of the 13-team Div. III district meet Wednesday at Findlay.

Columbus Grove holds the lead in both the boys and girls standings after the first day. The Pirate boys are fourth and Bluffton girls are sixth after day one, which featured three finals events and many qualifying races.

41st annual BHS awards program

Scholarships, special awards and individual class awards presented

Bluffton High School students participated in a student-only 41st annual BHS annual academic awards program May 14.

The ceremony included college and university awards and scholarships, plus individual scholarships including the following:

The "Ride" returns

Another traditional Bluffton summer evert returns as an in-person activity. Ride to Remember will take place on July 10. Click here for the details. (Mark Yoder photo)

Ride to Remember returns in July

Routes range from a 10-mile Fun Loop to a 63-mile Main Loop. Ride all of the loops for a total of 110 miles. Proceeds benefit Bluffton Pathways Project 

The seventh annual Ride to Remember returns after a one-year in-person absence on Saturday, July 10. The ride is sponored by the Bluffton Lions Club Foundation.

The planning committee made the decision that this event can be safely held with certain COVID-19 precautions. And for riders who are still cautious about a group event, an on-your-own virtual event, similar to last year, will also be an option.
