Blanchard Valley Health System (BVHS) is now offering antibody testing for COVID-19.
Patients who would like to know if they have had COVID-19 should contact their primary care provider who will then order a test through the BVHS outpatient laboratory.
Unlike the nasal swabs that test for active COVID-19 infections, the antibody test is taken through a blood draw. The antibodies will typically show-up about one to two weeks after someone has been infected with COVID-19.

Here's the walking path between the Buckeye and Riley Creek. At 7:30 a.m. on Tuesday, May 19, water from the creek was still flowing into the Buckeye at the east end. The next photos shows water leaving the Buckeye, returning to the stream at the west end at Spring Street. And, finally, a great blue heron is spotted in the second and third photos, watching the photographer.
Bluffton's annual clean-up week began today and runs through Thursday, May 21. Dumpsters are in place at the Bluffton recycle center on Spring Street.
