Susan Wagner was a Cory-Rawson first grade teacher

Susan Lynne Wagner, 62, died June 4, 2021, at Bridge Hospice Care Center, Findlay. Susan was born Dec. 31, 1958, in Columbus to Kenneth "Jim" and Rebecca "Becky" (Jones) Faze. On Oct. 1, 1988 she married David Wagner who survives.

Inter-city bus service is not new to Bluffton

ACRTA will offer 5 stops each weekend starting Monday • 115 years ago the Western Ohio Railway offered electric interurban service here • later Greyhound serviced Bluffton until 1985

Allen County Regional Transportation Authority’s decision to bring five weekday bus routes to Bluffton starting on Monday, June 7, is not the first time this community has experience inter-city bus travel.

Click here for the story announcing this new service, which was posted yesterday on the Icon.

On Saturday, residents may see the bus working its route between 9:30 a.m. and 11:30 a.m., as it makes final preparations for service on begin next week.

Here's the swimming pool staff

Bluffton council approved the hiring of Bluffton Community Swimming Pool personnel on June 1. Jennie Wilson is the manager and six persons are assistant managers. The staff list is above and assistant managers are highlighted in yellow.

Right on schedule

It's not the Jefferson Street we remember. Curbs are in place, as are all the underground pipes. The reconstruction project, according to Jesse Blackburn, village administrator, is right on schedule. This photo is from the railroad looking east.

The Inn at ONU, Ada, provided additional details to its July 4 weekend of events. Those details are spelled out in the flyer attached.

Thursday, July 1 - Canvas and cocktails 
Friday, July 2 - Patroitic pops/boxed meals
Saturday, July 3, Beer bistro and barbecue
