Volleyball sweeps Capital at OAC/HCAC Crossover

HANOVER, Ind. - Less than 12 hours after matches finished on Friday night, teams were in the gym ready to go for day two of the annual HCAC/OAC Crossover. Bluffton was up in the first round of matches to face the Capital Crusaders who they just went five sets with last weekend in Wooster.

Over 100 buttons hand-sewn on this headboard

Dan Garver of Fine Touch Furniture and Upholstery, Ada, displays a king size diamond tufted handcrafted headboard, recently upholstered by the firm.

Over 100 buttons are in this headboard. Each button was hand sewn. Fine Touch Furniture and Upholstery is located at 153 N. Johnson St.

Bluffton's favorite fall event is Saturday

Events at Maple Crest, MMH, Swiss Homestead, BFR, Hospital, Downtown

Saturday is Bluffton's favorite fall event. It's the 13th annual Bluffton Fall Festival.

All activities are free unless otherwise designated. Food and other items are available for purchase at multiple locations. There will be busses traveling between all locations at scheduled intervals.

More details of State Route 103 corridor safety study

Public comment sheet attached; study project cost $65,420

The safety study underway on Bluffton’s 103 corridor is the first step in possible improvements made to that two-lane heavily-trafficked area of the community.

Bluffton residents are encouraged to share their comments on the study.

A printer-friendly comment sheet is attached at the bottom of this story.  All comments must be delivered to the town hall village office by Wednesday, Sept. 28.
