Drive Time Driving Instruction next in-person class June 14-19

Drive Time Driving Instruction, LLC, Bluffton, is accepting registrations for its next in-person Bluffton class, according to Doug and Sara Kisseberth.

My awesome teacher - Mrs. Warner

Teacher Appreciation Week is May 4-8. In cooperation with the Bluffton PTO, the Icon is posting drawings of elementary teachers created by elementary students. Molly Byers, Kindergartener, created this drawing of her teacher, Mrs. Warner.

It's a way to encourage viewers to wear masks when in public and to recognize those who are thoughtful enough to take the time to wear one.

A quarantined senior lives here

A 2020 Bluffton High School quarantined senior lives here. In an effort to recognize members of the 2020 class Bluffton schools have posted signs like this one in the yards of each BHS senior this month. This year's graduating class is missing all spring activities include sports, music, prom and commencement. This sign is on North Main Street.

University continues its Study Buddies in May

Free online educational enrichment for K-12 students

The Bluffton University education department will continue offering free online educational enrichment in response to K-12 school closures each Tuesday and Thursday through the month of May.

The popular service, primarily staffed by Bluffton University educator preparation majors and student teachers, began on March 8.

Study Buddies provide academic help and educational games/activities through the Zoom videoconferencing platform. Students needing academic help can log on any time between 9 a.m. and noon to be matched with a Study Buddy.
