You will see many Bluffton residents parked in strategic locations around town this week with a notepad and pencil.
They are volunteers involved in a twice-a-year bike and pedestrian count in the village. Twenty-seven residents are involved in this week's count.
You’ll find them near the Lion’s Way path on Lake Street, on College Avenue near the Triplett Bike Path, at Main and Parkview, at Augsburger and Elm Street and a couple other locations in town.

The two most frequently asked questions in Bluffton this month are:

• What do we do with the Republic trash and recycle carts?
The answers follow: Clean up week May 18-21

Dumpsters will be placed at the Bluffton recycle center on Spring Street during this period.
Teacher Appreciation Week was May 4-8. In cooperation with the Bluffton PTO, the Icon is posting drawings of elementary teachers created by elementary students. Henrietta Kaiser, first grader, created this drawing of her teacher, Mrs. Huffman.
The Icon invites all elementary students to submit a drawing of a teacher. Send to: [email protected].
Here's today's installment of the Bluffton High School Class of 2020 Senior Spotlight. Each weekday until the end of May the Icon will feature photos and future plans for four BHS seniors. Students will be featured in a four-set random order.
Take a walk down Main Street, check out the signs and you'll learn something new. This sign is in the window of Bluffton Public Library - and you can see the reflection in the window of Bluffton High School.
