Bluffton Bread Co. taking orders for speciality breads

Bluffton Bread Company is back for Mother’s Day. Online orders for Mother’s Day will open on Sunday, April 25, through a new shopping cart system at www.bluffton.edu/blufftonbread.
Available flavors include Lemon Blueberry, a specialty bread that features the traditional flavor of pound cake, updated with a modern twist, and the always popular Asiago Cheddar.
Online orders can either be shipped 2-day priority or picked up in Bluffton. Pickup details will be sent after the order is completed.
The Icon is not aware if this downy woodpecker couple applied for a village building permit. Over the series of three days, the male and female successfully found their dream house location and then worked on it, both drilling and removing sawdust until it was completed. The new residence is in the front lawn of 226 Grove St.

Steven Neely, Bluffton High School junior, is the Icon's artist of the month for April.
He has taken Ceramics 1 and Ceramics 2. Following high school he says that he is considering engineering as a college major. The three animals in the photo with him are some that he says that he's always found interesting.
"I enjoy art because I find that it is a good way to express creativity," says Steven. Vickie Garmon is the Bluffton High School art teacher.
Riley Busch doubled home two runs in girls' contest

CONVOY - Host Crestview defeated Bluffton 13-6 in an offensively high-powered Northwest Conference softball matchup Thursday evening.
Bluffton fell to 2-8 and 1-2 in league play after the defeat. The first-place Lady Knights improved to 11-2 overall and 3-0 in the NWC with the victory.
