Both the Middle School and Elementary kindergarten classes are collecting food items for the Bluffton Food Pantry. Below is a list of non-perishable items which the food pantry currently needs.
The food pantry kindly requests no glass containers.
For kindergartners
Bring your donated items to your classroom. Deadline is Friday, Nov. 22
For the Middle School
The goal is 500 items from each class. Food items can be dropped off in room 107 (Mrs. Ault). Deadline is Tuesday, Dec. 17.
Alaina Shearer, a seasoned speaker and professional change maker, will share her personal and professional journey toward positive social change at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 19, in Yoder Recital Hall.
In Shearer’s professional journey, she quickly realized after graduation that extreme sexism and gender discrimination were rampant in her chosen industry - broadcast journalism and then, again, in her second career path: advertising. In 2016, Shearer realized this wasn’t sustainable and founded her own company – Women in Digital (now Together Digital).

The Bluffton Community Assistance Program is busy this time of year.
Jami Crawfis, who directs the program's food pantry, provided the following details for persons, groups and organizations interested in adopting a family, an individual or interested in providing donations this holiday season.
Crawfis said that there are over 60 families receiving assistance.

Scott Edwards will perform an organ recital open to the public at 2 p.m., Friday, Nov. 15, at English Lutheran Church, 111 Grove St., Bluffton. The recital includes a hymn sing hosted by the church and Maple Crest. Click here for more information about the recital.
