October worship schedule set at MMH

October worship service schedules are in place at Mennonite Memorial Home. They follow:

Sundays - 9:30 a.m. chapel
Oct. 5 - Bill Herr
Oct. 12 - Rev. Charles Warren
Oct. 19 - Bill Herr
Oct. 26 - Elizabeth McDowell

Tuesdays - 6:30 p.m. chapel
Oct. 7 - Rev. Thomas Dearth, County Line Church of the Brethren
Oct. 14 - Rev. Dick Potter, Ebenezer Mennonite, communion
Oct. 21 - Steve Yoder, First Mennonite

Bluffton University alumni go toCedar Point

BLUFFTON, Ohio—The Bluffton University alumni office will host an Oct. 25 gathering for alumni at Cedar Point.

Following a complimentary lunch at 11 a.m.—when alumni can hear updates from campus and current students—the amusement park will offer discounted rates to Bluffton visitors. Ticket prices are $37 for those at least 4 feet tall and $34.99 for those under 4 feet and over 61 years old.

Palace Theatre Big Band to perform

BLUFFTON, Ohio—Tickets are available for the next performance in the 2014-15 Bluffton University Artist Series, by the Palace Theatre Big Band at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 23, in Yoder Recital Hall.

HANOVER, Ind. - The Bluffton University men's soccer team opened up conference play in the HCAC with a 1-0 victory on Saturday, Oct. 4 when they visited Hanover College.
