A Bluffton original is now available in the “best place to visit in Amish country.”

You can now purchase Bluffton Slaw Cutters at Lehman’s Hardware in Kidron, Ohio. The hardware is a popular tourist stop in eastern Ohio. It was voted the best place to visit in Amish Country.

Bill Sehlhorst, owner of the slaw cutter company, said that Lehman’s started carrying the cutters in December. He added that Lehman’s appreciated the packaging of the Bluffton-made product.

During the evening BCE will announce the winners of this year’s business plan competition. It has two divisions: Emerging Area Businesses, and Established Bluffton Businesses.

The Dough Hook, 117 N. Main St., Bluffton, is taking orders for its spring sausage sale, according to Marlena Ballinger.

“Our sausage is made on site from family recipes,” she said. “It has no nitrates, additives or preservatives.”

At $2.29 per pound sausage is available in:

• Fresh sausage links
• Bratwurst
• Kielbasa

Orders must be placed by Friday, March 17. Pick up dates are later in March.
