A trio performance Saturday, Nov. 16

Bluffton folk singer-songwriter Brett Prothro will perform in concert with Christina Eltrevoog and Matthew Pittman at 7 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 16, in the third floor of the Bluffton town hall in the next Town Hall Concert performance.

Eltrevoog and Pittman make up an acoustic dou called Michael and Christina Marie (MMCM). 

Some background on the performers:
In 2017, MMCM  began performing one another’s songs as an acoustic duo. They have collaborated ever since, writing and performing throughout the United States.

Trinity Lutheran Church, Jenera, Ohio is hosting a Red Cross blood drive on Sunday, Nov. 17, from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at the Trinity Lutheran School gym, 104 Allen Street, Jenera.

The Gardeners of the Bluffton-Pandora Area hold their monthly meeting tonight at 6:30 p.m. at the library, in the lower meeting room.  Tonight is a hands-on workshop discussing and planting flower bulbs. See above for details. 

On Nov. 7 & Nov. 15

Two free meals, open to the public, are set at the Bluffton Senior Citizens Center in November. 

The meals are at 6 p.m., Thursday, Nov. 7, hosted by Mennonite Home Communities of Ohio, and at 6 p.m., Thursday, Nov. 21, hosted by First United Methodist Church.

The center is located at 132 N. Main St., Bluffton. All ages are welcome (and children usually get served first).

Fall back in the fall!

Daylight Saving Time begins early Sunday morning, Nov. 3. Set your clocks back one hour before heading to bed on Saturday evening.

 

 

“A Christmas market in the mansion” takes place from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 2, in the Jones Mansion, 313 E. Sandusky St., Findlay.

Admission is a $3 donation at the door with proceeds going toward upkeep and restoration of the mansion.

The event includes several market vendors with primitive holiday wares, paper goods, jewelry, women’s boutique clothing, cookies, children’s clothing, teas, herbs and flowers, soaps, Ohio poured candles, pillows, jams and jellies, doodle designs, quilting, dried fruit snacks, handmade stone coasters and more.
