Jane M. Walter, 81, of Baltimore, Ohio, died at Fairfield Medical Center on Nov. 13, 2020. Jane was born to the late Ralph and Leota (Wilkins) Badertscher on May 11, 1939, in Bluffton, Ohio.
Jane was retired from the Fairfield Medical Center, where she an X-Ray technician. Jane was a member of Grace United Church of Christ in Lancaster, and recently at Trinity United Church of Christ in Baltimore. She also sang in the choir at Broad Street Presbyterian, where she met Jim, and at Grace UCC.

Do you remember this bridge? It dated back to the early 1900s. It crossed the Riley on Cherry Street and was replaced in the early 2000s by the current bridge.
She volunteered at Bluffton Senior Citizens Center and Bluffton Hospital

Barbara A. Shinabery, 90, died at 9:04 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 28, 2020, at St. Rita's Medical Center, Lima, Ohio.
Barbara was born on July 20, 1930, in Allen Co, Ohio, to the late Clinton G. Wright and Florence Ruth (Leasure) Wright. On August 9, 1953, she married Elmer Ray Shinabery, Jr., he preceded her in death on August 11, 2017.

Denver Junior Zimmerly, 83, of Findlay died on Sunday, Nov. 29, 2020, at Blanchard Valley Hospital of complications from COVID 19.
He was born April 28, 1937, to Denver and Olive (Schumacher) Zimmerly in Toledo, Ohio. He grew up in Bluffton, Ohio and graduated from Bluffton High School. He began working with Ohio Power (AEP) and continued working there until his retirement.
He married Barbara Katterheinrich on April 2, 1960, and she survives. They celebrated 60 years of marriage in 2020.

The Icon invites anyone who plows driveways, lanes, sidewalks and parking lots this winter to promote their business on the Icon.
The Icon will post a continually-running classified ad under "Services Offered" all winter for anyone in the snow plow business. The ad will include your name, contact information and any additional information you wish to provide.
Your ad will appear on both Bluffton Icon and Ada Icon for one price of $49 for the entire winter season.
