Jeffery Brodman was a 1975 Bluffton HS graduate
Jeffrey A. Brodman, 58, of Bluffton died May 28, 2016, at 8:38 p.m. at St. Rita’s Hospice, Lima. Jeff was born September 4, 1957, in Upper Sandusky to Bernard and Nancy England Brodman. His mother survives in Bluffton.
Jeff was employed at Tower Automotive, Bluffton, where he worked for 30 years. He was a member of UAW Local 1327 and a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Bluffton. He was a graduate of Bluffton High School 1975.
Jeff is survived by three children, Amber and Jared (Jamie) Brodman, both of Bluffton, Jenna Brodman of Hudson, Ind., five grandchildren, Andrew Brodman, DeAndre Nassar, Jarilyn Brodman, Ayana Brodman, Tyler Gruenemeyer, two step-daughters, Katie Zimmerly of Findlay, Kelsey Zimmerly of Columbus, seven siblings, Paula (Jan) Kibele of Bluffton, Cindy (Mick) Gilica of Gomer, Lisa (Jim) Carr of Bluffton, Roger Brodman of Bluffton, Doug, (Donna) Brodman of Bluffton, Donita Amsler of Bluffton, Joel (Tracie) of Findlay, Marla (Dave Newland) Niemeyer of Lafayette.
He was preceded in death by a grandmother, Edna England, his God Father, Paul England, a brother-in-law, Mark Niemeyer, a nephew, Chad Gilica, a niece, Sadie Brodman, and a nephew, Noah Brodman.
A Mass of Christian Burial was held June 1 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Bluffton. Rev. John Stites officiated. Burial was in Maple Grove Cemetery, Bluffton. Chiles-Laman Funeral and Cremation Services, Bluffton, handled the arrangements.
