Search underway for university men's soccer coach
Bluffton University is searching for a new head coach for its men’s soccer program following the resignation of James Kusak. He has accepted an assistant coach position at the University of Louisville in Kentucky.
“We will begin a search for a new coach in the coming weeks,” said Phill Talavinia, Bluffton’s athletics director. “I wish Coach Kusak all the best.”
Kusak, who served as the head coach the past two seasons, has been instrumental in rebuilding the men’s soccer program, directing four All-Heartland Conference performers, three Academic All-HCAC honorees and a two-time Academic All-Ohio recipient.
The men’s soccer program will reap the benefits of Coach Kusak’s tireless recruiting as 17 freshmen from the 2017 squad return to the pitch in 2018.
