Dorothy Hoffman was a member of the Bluffton Senior Citizens Assn.
Dorothy M. Hoffman, 96, died on March 8, 2018, at 4:30 a.m. at The Heritage House, Findlay.
Dorothy M. was born Aug. 19, 1921, in Bechtelsville, Pennsylvania, to Herbert and Florence (Heydt) Fronheiser who preceded her in death. On June 8, 1946, she married Roger M. Hoffman who preceded her in death on Oct. 31, 1999.
Mrs. Hoffman worked at the Bally Ribbon Mill, Bally Pants Factory, Pottstown Hospital as a nurses aide, and Hereford Mennonite Church as the cleaning lady. She is a former member of First Mennonite Church, Bluffton, and Hereford Mennonite Church, Bally, Pennsylvania. Dorothy was also a life member of the Barto Fire Company Women's Auxiliary and the Bluffton Senior Center.
Survivors include a son, Roger (Sandra) Hoffman of Bluffton; two grandchildren, Andrea (Darnell) Mahone of Clermont, Florida, Michael (Cari) Hoffman of Nashville, Tennessee; two great-grandchildren, Milan Mahone, Myles Mahone; a sister-in-law, Verlyn Hoffman of Milledgeville, Georgia; a brother- in-law, Robert Koch of Bally, Pennsylvania; several nieces, a nephew, and many great nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Warren Reppart; a son, David Reppart; three siblings, Sterling Fronheiser, Emma Peck, Janet Koch, three brother-in-laws, Raymond Hoffman, Leroy Mathias, Robert Peck; two sister-in-laws, Mary Mathias, and Helen Fronheiser.
Services will be held at a later date in Pennsylvania.
Memorial contributions may be made to First Mennonite Church, Bluffton, the Butter Valley Community Church, or Hereford Mennonite Church, Bally, Pennsylvania.
