Time to enter the Icon's 2021 college football national championship contest
The Bluffton Icon’s 2021 college football national championship contest is now accepting entries.
Here’s how it will work:
• Persons may enter as often as they wish, using their own name only one time
(Persons entering the same name twice will be disqualified)
• Deadline to enter is 6 p.m., Monday, Jan. 11
• The overall Bluffton Icon winner will receive one 1-item, 14-inch Padrone's Pizza of Bluffton
Contestants who pick the winning team will also will earn 1 point for each of the following correct answers:
• Which team will score first?
• Which team will lead at halftime?
• Which team will lead after the third quarter?
• Will the game go into overtime?
• The winning team will win by ______ (point spread)
If a tie exists at this point in scoring, two tie-breakers will be considered:
1 – Who will be the defensive MVP?
2 – Who will be the offensive MVP?
And, if a tie exists following the two tie-breakers, the earliest entry will be declared the winner.
