Multiple residents of Mennonite Memorial Home and staff at MMH received their first doses of a covid-19 vaccine today (Dec. 22), according to Jason Cox.
Vaccines will be administered at Hilty Home, Pandora, on Dec. 23, and at Willow Ridge on Dec. 29, according to Cox.
Cox told the Icon that pharmacists from the CVS Pharmacy located in Breese Road, Lima, were on the MMH campus today giving the shots.

Sixty families in the service area of the Bluffton Community Assistance Program have gifts under their tree and food ready for a Christmas meal. On Saturday with the help of Bluffton Boy Scouts and others in the community the gift and food distribution took place. BLUFFTON - The host Bluffton boys basetball team lost 63-50 to Crestview in Northwest Conference action Monday night in a makeup game from December 18.
The Knights led 21-17 after a high-scoring first period, with each team hitting three triples. Crestview took control with a 17-6 second period run to lead 38-23 at halftime.
The Pirates cut the deficit to 45-36 behind a 13-7 third stanza as Nate Schaadt scored seven points. But the hosts pulled away with an 18-point fourth period to win by 13.

The Bluffton Swim Club won their dual swim meet with Ada High School on Thursday, Dec. 17, at the Putnam County YMCA in Ottawa.
Ella Armstrong finished with two first places and two second places, which included a victory in the girls 200 meter medley relay with a time of 2:10:45.
