The Emmanuel United Church of Christ, 8375 Phillips Road, Bluffton, will hold a fish fry in March. The event is from 4 to 7 p.m., Friday, March 8, at the church.
Cost is $7 for adults and $4 for youth 11 and under. The fish fry offers all the fish you can eat, plus potatoes, vegetables, salad and dessert.
It's not too early to start thinking about this year's Bluffton Area Chamber of Commerce Arts and Crafts Show.
This year's show is Saturday, May 11, in downtown Bluffton. Last year's craft vendors have received their invitations to return this year. Nearly 30 vendors have registered already for the show, according to Jerry Burkholder, show director.
Brennan Davies participated in the Miami Valley Kid Wrestling Association Tournament following the regular season when he placed third in the area regional tournament.
The 'State Tournament' was held at the Nutter Center in Dayton on Feb. 24. There Brennan placed second in the state in the 11-year-old heavyweight category.
His coaches are Scott Slaughterbeck, Travis Klemen, Zac Kohli and Jeff Klemen.
The Bluffton Post Office will hold a “passport day,” Saturday, March 9, according to Denny Edinger. Hours are 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Persons may call the post office to make an appointment at 419-358-6096.
The passport event will take place in the post office lobby.

The Bluffton Area Chamber of Commerce presents "Driving Miss Daisy," at 8 p.m., Saturday, March 9, at The Centre. The performance, by the Van Wert Civic Theatre, is a fundraiser for the chamber.
Tickets are $10 each and are on sale at the Bluffton Senior Citizens Center, Greg's Pharmacy, Village Cut 'n' Curl and at the door on March 9. Tickets will also be available at the chamber breakfast on March 8.
There are no reserved seats. The doors open at 7 p.m.

Several Bluffton lawn and garden experts will provide tips on how to pull it off during the 7 a.m., Friday, March 8, Bluffton Area Chamber of Commerce breakfast. The free breakfast takes place in the third floor of the Bluffton town hall. It is open to the public.
Luke’s Bar and Grill is the breakfast provider and breakfast sponsor. Serving starts at 7 a.m. and the program starts at 7:30 a.m.
The Bluffton University softball team saw its four-game winning streak to start the season come to an end with a pair of losses to Alvernia and Simpson on Tuesday, March 5, 2013.
A defense that had been solid during the first four games came up short this afternoon as the Beavers finished the day with seven errors, including five in a 9-6 loss to Simpson.
Alvernia put up two unearned runs in the third inning of game one, marking the first time this season that Bluffton trailed in a game.
Richland Manor, Swaney Road Bluffton, hosted a chili cook off on Feb. 21. Over 70 people attended the event, which featured 14 varieties of chili.

• Second place and winner of $75: Roberta Beemer for her Sausage Chili
• Third place and winner of $50: Edwin and Gwynne Sortenson for their White Chicken Chili
The Bluffton University baseball team is off to their best start in school history through six games after a doubleheader sweep of Muskingum University on Tuesday, March 5, 2013. Bluffton kept the Muskingum bats in check in game one, rolling to a 4-0 victory. The Beavers broke a tie late in game two to pull away for a 9-5 win.
