Who needs a scary Halloween story when you can view a photo this scary. Imagine Pat and Richard Nixon in Bluffton during the 1979 (or 1980) Halloween parade. Accompanying the Nixons is Fred-in-Stein, who also frequents Bluffton at the end of each October.

ArtSpace/Lima, 65-67 Town Square, Lima, announces Home for the Holidays 2016, a holiday art sale, to be held Nov. 16 through Dec. 22,according to Bill Sullivan, operations manager.
The sale features all original art from local artists. Works in 2D (paintings, watercolors, collage, prints, drawings) and 3D (sculpture, ceramics, glass) will be on display, as well as a large selection of hand-crafted jewelry. All the art is one-of-a-kind and original.
Work is underway to seed the sides of the Lions Way Augsburger Road bike path. The path, leading from Bentley Road to Riverbed and Maple Crest will have a public dedication at 4 p.m., Monday, Oct. 31. The dedication will be across from the university athletic complex. (Dick Ramseyer photo)
BLUFFTON, Ohio - Wednesday night's Heartland Conference matchup brought Mount St. Joseph to the Sommer Center for a mid-week showdown between the Lions and the Bluffton University volleyball team. The Beavers improved to 21-7 overall and 8-0 in the HCAC after downing the Lions (11-14, 2-7 HCAC) in three quick sets.
NORTH MANCHESTER, Ind. - The Manchester University men's soccer team scored twice in the first half and made it hold up as the Spartans took down Bluffton University 2-0 on a cool and overcast Wednesday, Oct. 26. Bluffton fell to 3-14 overall and 0-8 in the Heartland Conference, while Manchester improved to 8-6-3 on the season and 2-5-1 in the HCAC.
