The Bluffton University music department will showcase its ensembles during the annual Christmas Festival Forum on campus. The holiday concert will take place at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 5, in Yoder Recital Hall.
During the concert, ensembles will perform compositions that prepare hearts and minds for the Christmas season.

Autumn Gesler, Bluffton High School artist, is the winner of a $200 college scholarship.
The award is from Reichenbach and Steiner CPA, and Samuel W. Diller Co., L.P.A., and is part of a holiday art judging contest sponsored by the two Main Street businesses.
Authors Andrew Hudgins and Erin McGraw answered questions, inspired minds and offered practical advice for young people who are serious about pursuing writing as a profession during Bluffton University’s 34th annual English Festival held on campus.
Advice included: “If you wait to be inspired you’ll die waiting,” from Hudgins and, “Writing something stupid is better than writing nothing. Get going and make it better later,” from McGraw.
Bluffton High School senior Tristan Smucker was named second team All-Ohio in voting compiled recently by the Ohio Soccer Scholastic Coaches Association.
Smucker was a team leader on Bluffton’s boys soccer team that made back to back trips to the OHSAA regional tournament.
