Letter to Icon viewers:

The Icon wishes all viewers a happy and long Fourth of July weekend. Our own celebration begins a little early, as we will take a few days off between now and the first of the week. Don’t worry, stories will continue to appear, only on a slower schedule. And, some regular features take the week off.

In the meantime, please consider yourself invited as our special guests to a free and open-to-the-public Icon summer party.

Headaches are a phenomenon with which most everyone is familiar, and their causes and severity span the spectrum. June is national headache month, and according to the World Health Organization, almost half of adults worldwide have suffered from a headache at least once in the past year.

Headaches are characterized by consistent, recurring pain in the head and can range from a dull ache to a migraine.
