The Bluffton Exempted Village School District is currently accepting applications from students interested in attending the school district through open enrollment for the 2024-2025 school year.
Students from any school district in Ohio may apply and enroll in Bluffton Schools tuition free. Students are admitted on a full-time basis only.
Applications are approved annually on a first come, first served basis and approval is subject to grade level enrollment and educational programs.
Anyone interested in a personal tour, a time can be scheduled that is convenient for you and your family including evenings or weekends.

Registration is open for the Bluffton Family YMCA Indoor Soccer Session 3. The registration deadline is January 28, but divisions may fill before this date.
Dr. Martina Cucchiara, professor of history at Bluffton University, will present the Forum “100 Years: Illuminating Key Moments in the Conflict Between Israel and Palestine,” at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 30 in Yoder Recital Hall.
The Bluffton University art department presents the 56th Juried Student Exhibition through February 9 in the Grace Albrecht Gallery of Sauder Visual Arts Center. The exhibition is free and open to the public. Gallery hours are 9 a.m.-5 p.m. during the week and 1-5 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays.
The exhibition will showcase work created this academic year by students in university art classes or supervised independent studies. Bluffton University students were able to enter up to three works in each of the following media: ceramics, glass, two-dimensional design, three-dimensional design, drawing, painting, photography, printmaking and sculpture. Up to five works could be submitted for computer generated artwork.
Ronald Ray Badertscher, 82, passed away January 21, 2024, at the Mennonite Memorial Home.
Ron was born July 14, 1941 in Bluffton, to Wilmer and Glenona (Hathaway) Badertscher who preceded him in death. On January 20, 1962 he married Sharlee Burge Badertscher who survives.

Hanover takes down Women’s Basketball 73-56
(January 13) HANOVER, Ind. - The Bluffton University women's basketball team knotted it up late in the first half, but Hanover College pulled away late for a 73-56 victory on Saturday, Jan. 13, 2024. Bluffton fell to 5-10 overall and 3-5 in the Heartland Conference, while Hanover improved to 9-6 and 7-1 in league play.
The Bluffton Gators bowled a match at Sportsmen Lanes vs. Liberty-Benton on Saturday, January 20.

Four bowlers--Laney Kiene 97, Xaiver Navarro 169, Drew Frideger 124, 118 & Elijah Nye 175, 191--shot scores over their average with two of them (Navarro 298 and Nye 376) scoring their personal best series of the season. Taking 3 of the 4 baker games, the JV had a great winning score of Gators 1,959-L-B 1,699.
