Swimming and Diving caps off 2023-24 at HCAC Championships
(February 14-17) TERRE HAUTE, Ind. - The Bluffton University swimming and diving team showed out at the HCAC Championships which were staged from Wednesday, Feb. 14, through Saturday, Feb. 17.

Men’s Basketball swats rival Defiance in HCAC finale
(February 16) BLUFFTON, Ohio - The Bluffton University men's basketball team closed out its Heartland Conference rivalry with Defiance College in style on Friday night, rolling to a 93-79 victory over the Jackets. Bluffton finished its first season under Head Coach Seth Clark with an 8-17 record, including a 4-14 mark in the HCAC. Defiance will head to the NAIA after a 1-23 campaign in which DC went 0-18 against HCAC competition.

Women’s Basketball pummels Defiance 56-41 in HCAC finale
(February 16) BLUFFTON, Ohio - The Bluffton University women's basketball team sent Defiance College packing with a 56-41 over the Yellow Jackets on Friday, Feb. 16, 2024. Bluffton wrapped up its season with a 9-16 mark, including 7-11 in the HCAC. Anderson's win at Manchester kept the Beavers from notching a berth in the conference tournament. Defiance finished up 0-25 and 0-18 in league play.

The Bluffton Family YMCA, 215 Snider Rd, will be hosting a daddy-daughter dance themed “In my Daddy Daughter Era.”

Restaurant Week returns for the seventh year in Findlay and Hancock County. Twenty-one locations are participating with restaurants offering three-course meals
on a prix-fixe menu at different price points.

Continuing until Sunday, February 25, diners have the opportunity to try something new or support their favorite restaurants during this special week. Price points for
the participating restaurants are $15, $25, $35, and $45 per diner, and vary per restaurant.

In addition to restaurants in Findlay, there are participating restaurants in Arlington, Bluffton and Vanlue.

Do your have a fruit tree but aren't sure how to prune it properly? The Gardeners of the Bluffton/Pandora Area (GBPA) are hosting a hands-on program on fruit tree pruning at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 25.

Jerry Suter from Suter Produce, will be showing the proper tools, as well as where to cut and at what angle in a demonstration with the apple tree at the Bluffton Community Garden, 9900 block of S. Main St..

Organizers note that you can bring your tools with you and make some test cuts.
