Saturday morning is market time

When is Bluffton at its busiest? From May to October, Saturday morning vies for that honor. That’s when the Bluffton Farmers Market, a program of the Bluffton Area Chamber of Commerce, adds another attraction for those looking to get their shopping done in one big swoop.

Coffee? Check. Baked goods? Check. Flowers for the garden? Check. Something special for lunch? For dinner? Check, check.

Beaver baseball recap May 11

KOKOMO, Ind.--The Manchester University baseball team continued to have Bluffton's number as the Spartans opened the 2023 Heartland Conference with an 11-3 victory on Thursday, May 11. Bluffton fell to 22-15 on the season and they will now await the loser of the Anderson/Rose-Hulman contest.

Sardines hold parent meeting for summer swim team

The Bluffton Sardine Swim Team, an 501c3 non-profit organization that offers instruction, training, will hold a parent meeting at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, May 17.

Organizers note, "We will be meeting in the Middle School Cafetorium. All Bluffton Sardine families are encouraged to attend but for new swim families, please plan to attend so that you can learn about the summer swim season."

Bluffton High School Academic Awards for 2022-2023

On May 10, 2023, Bluffton High School presented the Forty-Third Annual Academic Awards Program at the Middle School Cafetorium.

The following program includes the college awards and scholarships, special athletic awards and academic awards.

Bluffton's 2023 ODOT Paint The Plow entry

Bluffton 8th grade art students (with some help from 6th graders). painted a tribute to three middle school students who are loved and missed dearly; Briana, Ethan and Lane. The result is the school's Paint the Plow entry in the ODOT District 1 competition. Votes are being tallied on the Facebook post linked above.
