Cheese Grits Soufflé for supper tonight
Cheese Grits Souffl'e
1 1/2 to 2 cups of cooked grits...cook plain - no salt
(6 serving measurements on grit box, good serving
for company of 12, or use 4 serving directions and
half all the other ingredients.)
1/2 lb. Velveeta cheese grated or cubed
1/2 lb. Sharp Craker-Barrel Cheese - cut in small pieces
1 heaping Tbs. Lowry's Season Salt
1/4 lb. margarine or butter
Add these to hot grits. Stir. Then add 3 well-beaten eggs,
Slowly- as you beat constantly
Pour into well-greased casserole.
Bake uncovered at 350 degrees for one hour
Freezes well.
