Membership forms are available at the library's circulation desk. Contributions will help maintain the programs and services the community of Bluffton expects from its library.

Keeping Market Volatility in Perspective

When markets are volatile, sticking to a long-term investing strategy can be a challenge. Though past performance is no guarantee of future results, it might help you keep the ups and downs in perspective to see how recent market action compares to previous market cycles.

Transport for Christ (TFC) will host its annual banquet at 6 p.m., Friday, March 2, at Marbeck Center, Bluffton University. The meal is paid, but reservations are necessary by Feb. 27. Contact David Lugibihl, 419-230-3294 or Nancy Spallinger, 419-296-0360 to make reservations, or to make a donation.

"Come and learn how the TFC ministry changes lives and reaches out to the truck driving community. After a time of food and fellowship, attendees will get how to hear a TFC ministry update, testimonies from on-the-road truck drivers, and music by Tom Kennerk," said Lugibihl.

J. Denny Beaver

Spending dozens of hours spreading Bluffton University spirit at athletic and other events is enough to make J. Denny Beaver lose his head.

The Bluffton mascot will do just that on Wednesday, Feb. 8, when he is "beheaded" at halftime of Bluffton's men's basketball game against Manchester College. Tipoff will be at 7:30 p.m. in Founders Hall.
