FOSTORIA __ Several Bluffton athletes competed in the Div. III regional track and field meet at Fostoria Wednesday and Friday.
Three Pirate individuals and a boys relay team finished fourth in their events to post the top Bluffton showings and qualify for the OHSAA state tournament.
Senior Theo Andreas crossed the line fourth in the 3200-meter run.
Junior sprinter Griffin Stackhouse took fourth in the 200-meter dash.
Freshman Nora Matthews captured fourth in the girls 800-meter run.
The Bluffton boys 4x100 relay quartet also came in fourth place.
The Div. III state meet is May 30-June 1 at Dayton’s Welcome Stadium.

Newsgathering will continue through the weekend, including Bluffton High School graduation on Saturday evening and the Memorial Day parade and ceremonies at Maple Grove Cemetery on Monday.
