In October Bluffton EMS Chief Jan Basinger reported a total of 69 calls for service. Here's how the numbers break down: 36 Medical Calls, 5 Hospital to Hospital transports, 1 Motor Vehicle Crash, 14 Fire Calls, 1 Mutual Aid Motor Vehicle Crash, 6 Mutual Aid Medical Calls, 6 Special Events. 30 Patients transported in October. A total of 707 to date for 2024.

COLUMBUS __ The Ohio AMBER Alert Advisory Committee is reminding Ohioans that leaving unattended children in running vehicles, even for a brief period of time, can result in stranger abductions requiring an AMBER Alert activation.

Bluffton High School football will take on Patrick Henry in OHSAA Regional Finals on Friday, Nov. 22 at 7 p.m. at Donnell Stadium, 1300 S West St, Findlay, OH 45840.
Presale tickets are available at www.ohsaa.org/tickets for $11 Adults and $5 Students. Cash only tickets are available at the gate. Gates open at 5:30 p.m.
Bluffton High School will have a spirit bus traveling to Findlay on Friday, November 22 for the football playoff game.
The bus will depart at 6 p.m. from the High School Jackson St. entrance.
Students riding the bus will be responsible for purchasing their own tickets. The spirit bus will be offered to high school students first, with sign-ups open until Thursday at noon. After that, the sign-up sheet will be taken to the middle school, allowing junior high students to sign up until Friday afternoon.
