Daylight Savings ends in the wee hours this Saturday-Sunday, November 2-3. Whether you change your clocks before you go to bed on Saturday or when you get up on Sunday, you’ll need to move them back one hour. The change officially takes place at 2:00 a.m. EST.

The holiday months (mid-November to post-January) can be extremely difficult for loved ones suffering from mental illness. Rumpke Waste & Recycling has added a new acceptable item for recycling—clamshell plastic containers starting November 1, 2024.
Residents can now add clamshells to their recycling carts. This will include clear plastic carry-out containers; fruit, berry and lettuce containers and egg containers. For information on current guidelines, visit Rumpke HERE.
