Weather conditions began to put a halt of many activities in Bluffton on Thursday, Jan. 7. The Bluffton Area Chamber of Commerce meeting, scheduled from Friday morning, Jan. 8, was among victims of the weather. The monthly breakfast meeting was cancelled. It is rescheduled for next Friday, Jan. 15, at 7:30 a.m. in the town hall.

The Henry P. Huber Scholarship committee is currently accepting applications for the 2010-2011 school year, according to Greg Denecker, Bluffton school superintendent. Applications may be acquired from the Guidance Counselor at Bluffton High School, the Superintendent's office in the Bluffton Elementary School and from the Citizens National Bank in Bluffton.

We know this much: PK lives in Hancock County. What we don't know is this: was PK born in 1973 or is PK a 1973 graduate of Cory-Rawson?

Bluffton University's Institute for Learning in Retirement (ILR), an educational program designed specifically for retired individuals, is offering six classes this winter. The registration deadline is Jan. 20.
