The Village of Bluffton has issued a preliminary agenda for the Septembre 9 regular meeting of the Bluffton Council.
LEGISLATION
3rd Reading of Resolution No. 19-2024: A resolution adopting an American with Disabilities Act (ADA) transition plan for the Village of Bluffton, Ohio.
Ten Thousand Villages of Bluffton has invited Kara Gratz Zink, choir director in Bluffton for 23 years, to be its September Artist of the Month. Her macrame work is for sale in the store and on September 19 from 6:00-7:00 p.m., Kara will be doing a macrame demonstration.
Roger "Hawk" Hoffman of Tavares, FL. and formerly Bluffton, OH and Eshbach, Pa. died on September 1, 2024. Roger was born on Feb. 1st, 1952 to the late Roger Melvin Hoffman & Dorothy (Fronheiser) Hoffman who are both deceased.
Roger married the love of his life Sandra (Sam) Karhoff on Aug. 17, 1974 who survives.
Survivors include two children, Andrea Mahone of Lima, OH. and Michael (Cari) Hoffman of Nashville, Tenn. 4 grandchildren Milan and Myles Mahone, Monroe and Reese Hoffman.
The Bluffton Community Assistance Program has identified the following needs for September 2024. They ask that donated items be at St. John's no later than Tuesday evening, September 17, in order for workers to sort and shelve donations by Wednesday morning, September 18 for distribution on September 21. Items can also be dropped off at Bluffton Town Hall, 154 N. Main St.
