Beth Boehr-Miller receives CFC designation
Beth Boehr-Miller of Bluffton, recently earned the designation of Certified Financial Counselor from internationally-known financial expert and author, Dave Ramsey of the Lampo Group, Inc. after completing an intensive training program at the Dave Ramsey Headquarters in Brentwood, Tennessee.
The Dave Ramsey Certified Financial Counselor training program involves training professionals from around the nation to teach and care for Financial Peace University members and The Dave Ramsey Show listeners; as well as those looking for information on their personal finances.
Specifically, the training taught the counselors how to advise others on debt counseling, bankruptcy avoidance, dealing with creditors, retirement savings, ownership, charitable giving and much more.
As owner of Beyond Budgeting and BB Investments in Bluffton, Boehr-Miller said, "I attended this training because I felt God tugging at my heart to give hope to people who are hurting and to people who do not understand what to do with their finances.
"We need people who have a heart to teach...it seems that our finances are one of the most important areas of our lives; but for most of us we have never been taught how to handle them.
"I love helping people and I want to pass on those basic life skills to educate and equip individuals and couples so they can experience financial freedom."
