Bluffton's most entertaining weekend of the summer is hours away. Three groups have merged their annual summer events into one big weekend to form the first-ever Bluffton Hometown Amerifest. Beth Boehr, owner and founder of Beyond Budgeting in Bluffton, invites the community to "Get the Scoop" on Beyond Budgeting Saturday, June 26. The open house from 1-2:30 p.m. at the Beyond Budgeting office, 119 Vine St.
Attendees will be served free ice cream and will have a chance to win great door prizes.
Keri Hilty, BFR staff trainer, will lead a month-long camp designed to to increase athlete speed and agility.
The program, titled Need 4 Speed, will meet on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 10-11 a.m. July 5 through July 23. Cost is $75 ($45 BFR members).
Participants from last summer's program reported improvements in soccer, volleyball, and cross country involvement. Space is limited in this program, so early registration is encouraged. Contact BFR, 419-358-4150, for more information.
