Looking for a book group where you don't read a specific book to discuss, but rather meet up to get other readers' opinions on what they are reading and maybe add to your To Be Read list?
Bluffton Public Library is thinking about adding this "No-Obligation Book Group" event periodically on a Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday evening. Everyone would come prepared to recommend their favorite book title(s) read (or listened to) the last couple of months, and the hope is that folks will walk away with some inspiration for what to read next!
The Bluffton Exempted Village Schools Board of Education held its first meeting of 2025 on Tuesday, January 14. This public meeting included the Board’s annual reorganization proceedings to establish meeting times, dates and leadership positions.
In the future, school board meetings will now be held monthly on Mondays at 5:00 p.m. The meeting schedule (subject to change) is as follows:
Roads and sidewalks to be impacted, with permanent improvements completed in warmer weather
Starting January 21, 2025, Enbridge Gas Ohio will begin a gas main and service line improvement project to enhance service for Bluffton residents.
Key Details:
• Replacement of approximately 5,200 feet of gas mainline and service connections.
• Estimated duration is up to 50 workdays.
• Our team will coordinate directly with affected residents to ensure a smooth transition to the new gas lines.
• All authorized employees and contractors will carry photo IDs.
• Due to winter weather, temporary concrete will be installed on sidewalks and driveways, with permanent finishing to follow once conditions improve.
From Enbridge Gas Ohio: "We appreciate your patience and understanding as we work to improve your gas service."
