The 2023 Bluffton High School Homecoming Parade takes place at 5:30 p.m. on Friday, September 29. Parade entries should email [email protected] (Melissa Richards) or call the high school office at 419-358-7941. Lineup is at 5:00 p.m. at Bluffton Community at Snider Rd. and Main St.
Allen County Children Services will present an informational program on Kinship/Relative Care at the Bluffton Public Library, 145 S. Main St., on Tuesday, September 26. The program starts at 6:30 p.m.

Organizers note, “Kinship care represents the most desirable temporary or permanent out-of-home placement option for children who cannot live with their parents. It offers family preservation and the greatest level of stability by allowing children to maintain their sense of belonging, and enhances their ability to identify with their family's culture and traditions.”
The Bluffton High School girls soccer team jumped ahead early and handily defeated Kenton 6-1 in a non-conference match at Steinmetz Field on September 16.
The Pirate girls improved to 6-3-1 with the decisive win.
