Dec. 16 - Police stopped a vehicle driven by Nicholas Huizenga, 20, Dupont, for having expired license plates. During the stop, it was learned that Mr. Huizenga had a warrant for his arrest out of Logan County. Mr. Huizenga was arrested for the warrant and was issued a citation for Expired Plates and Failure to Display a License at the request of an officer. The case is pending in Lima Municipal Court. William Rayle III, 19, Continental, was also charged with Underage Consumption and that case is pending in Lima Municipal Court.
Dec. 17 - Police arrested Angel Rhoades, 38, Toledo for Operating a Vehicle while Intoxicated (OVI)and Driving with a suspended license (DUS) following a traffic stop on SR 103 for a turn signal violation. The case is pending in Findlay Municipal Court.
Dec. 20 - Police took a drug complaint from a County Line Road resident.
Dec. 21 - Officers responded to the intersection of College Ave. and S. Main St. in regards to an injury traffic crash. Mary Waltz, 60, Rawson, was issued a citation for Failure to Yield the Right of Way. The case is pending in Bluffton Mayor's Court.
Dec. 23 - Police responded to a non-injury traffic crash at the intersection of Commerce Lane and SR 103. Olivia Bish, 25, Ada. was issued a citation for Failure to Yield the Right of Way. The case is pending in Bluffton Mayor's Court.
Dec. 26 - Officers responded to a Bentley Road residence in regards to a possible runaway juvenile from Greenville, Ohio, being at the residence. The juvenile was located and was picked up by a relative.
Dec. 27 - Officers took a Criminal Damaging complaint from an Ada resident who stated that while her vehicle was parked in the 400 block of W. Elm St. on this date someone had cracked her window with what appeared to be a BB.
Dec. 28 - Police took a complaint from a Locust Ct. Resident that stated unknown persons had gained access to their credit card number and had made unauthorized purchases with it.
Dec. 28 - Police responded to a non-injury traffic crash on E. Jefferson St. near Cobb Lake. Upon arrival, officers found a vehicle sitting on top of the guardrail with the front end resting against some trees. Christopher Smallwood, 33, Bluffton was arrested for OVI, DUS, and Failure to Maintain Reasonable Control. The case is pending in Lima Municipal Court.
Dec. 29 - Officers responded to the intersection of Bentley and Harmon Roads in regards to a non-injury traffic crash. Richard Boehr, 78, Bluffton was issued a citation for Improper Backing. The case is pending in Bluffton Mayor's Court.
Dec. 31 - Officers arrested Ryan Lee, 26, Toledo for OVI following a traffic stop on SR 103. The case is pending in Findlay Municipal Court.
Dec. 31 - Police took a theft report from a S. Main St. resident.
