Invitation to Bluffton Athletic Boosters 300 Club

The Bluffton Athletic Boosters has issued a membership invitation for the 2022-23 school year. 

"Membership in the 300 Club plays a vital role in the financial support of our Bluffton Pirate Athletics. Membership in the 300 Club provides support to our student-athletes on 20 different teams at Bluffton High School and Middle School, including the purchase of uniforms, equipment, and pays for teams to attend summer camps."

300 Club annual dues are $100. Membership in the 300 Club is limited to the first 300 individuals, granted on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Hancock Historical Museum to host historic barn tour

Biennial Program recognized as one of the best in Ohio

The Hancock Historical Museum will host its sixth Historic Barn Tour on Saturday, September 10th from 10:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m. The self-guided tour, sponsored by Premier Bank, will showcase six historic barns in the western half of Hancock County, dating from the 1850s to the early 1900s.

Klinger gains experience in medical laboratory science

This summer, Grant Klinger ’25, a medical laboratory science major [at Bluffton University] confirmed his career goals and gained hands-on experience in his field. Klinger worked full-time as a laboratory processor at Blanchard Valley Health System in Findlay, Ohio.

Pirate spikers ground Rockets

The Bluffton High School volleyball team won a four-set match at non-league rival Pandora-Gilboa Wednesday evening, August 24.

The Lady Pirates improved to 3-0 with the 25-18, 23-25, 25-17, 25-17 victory.

Ayla Grandey led Bluffton with 13 kills and five blocks. Kendall Stackhouse and Morgan Fruchey each contributed 10 kills.

Gracie Yarnell passed out 32 assists, made four blocks and served three aces.
