April 16
-Police responded to a non-injury traffic crash at the intersection of SR 103 and Commerce Ln. Adam Akers, 30, of Huber Heights was issued a citation for Failure to Yield the Right of Way and that case is pending in Bluffton Mayor~Ac^a'not^a"cs Court.
-Officers responded to the 300 block of South Main St. in response to a non-injury traffic crash. A 16-year-old Bluffton girl was issued a citation for Failure to Maintain Reasonable Control and that case is pending in Allen County Juvenile Court.
April 18
-Police were responded to Bluffton University in regards to a Breaking and Entering complaint and discovered that unknown persons had entered a closed caf~Af^A(c) and caused damage to contents.
-Police took a Telephone Harassment complaint from a Sunset Dr. resident.
April 21
-Officers received a complaint from a Bluffton University employee who stated that an item was stolen from her office while at work.
April 22
-Officers responded to a Commerce Ln business in response to a theft of gasoline.
April 24
-Officers responded to a N. Main St. business in response to a theft of letters from an outdoor sign. Some of the letters were later located at a nearby business.
-Officers took a complaint from a S. Main St. resident who stated that an unknown person had stolen some checks and tried to get a cash advance charged to her account.
April 25
-Police responded to a Snider Rd. residence in response to an unwanted person at the residence. While on scene officers also took an assault report.
April 26
-Police took a theft report from a Vance St. resident who stated that someone had stolen prescription medicine from him
-Police responded to a non-injury traffic crash in the 500 block of N. Main St. Douglas Dahill, 21, of Lima was issued a citation for Assured Clear Distance Ahead. The case is pending in Bluffton Mayor~Ac^a'not^a"cs Court. While investigating the crash officers also discovered that Erick Suarez was driving with a suspended license. He was charged with DUS and that case is pending in Lima Municipal Court.
-Officers responded to Bluffton University in regards to unknown persons breaking into a University building and causing damage and stealing food items.
April 30
-Police took a theft report from a Cherry St. resident who stated that his bicycle was stolen while it was parked at Bluffton University.
-Police took a complaint from an Albert St. resident who stated that his neighbor had taken yard markers for underground utilities out of the ground and then threatened him.
-Police arrested Jason Lamb, 33, of Lima for DUS following a traffic stop on S. Main St. for an equipment violation. The case is pending in Lima Municipal Court.
