BHS number 1 and 2 tennis doubles keep winning

Despite sweeping the doubles matches, the Bluffton High School girls tennis team dropped a close 3-2 match to Celina here Tuesday.

Ashlin Gable and Emily Sprague continued their winning ways at No. 1 doubles, while Kristi Geiser and Liz Diller captured a long two-setter for the other Pirate points.

Shannon Koch lost a marathon match at No. 1 singles, while Amanda Solmonson and Rachel Sehlhorst also lost singles matches.

Several of the girls will compete in a junior varsity competition at Celina Saturday, while the next regular match is at Harmon Courts against St. Marys next Monday.
