September 1
-Officers responded to a N. Lawn Ave. residence in regard to an ongoing neighbor dispute
September 2
-Police responded to a non-injury traffic crash at the intersection of Jefferson St. and N. Main St. Leland Schrock, 24, Delphos, was cited for Assured Clear Distance and the case is pending in Bluffton Mayor's Court.
September 4
-Police were called to a N. Lawn Ave. residence in response to a complaint of domestic violence. Christopher Smallwood, 34, of Bluffton was arrested in connection to the complaint.
-Officer assisted the Allen County Sheriff's Office with a domestic violence complaint at a residence on Grove-Bluffton Road.
September 7
-Officers responded to a S. Main St. residence in regard to a complaint of Domestic Violence and a window broken on a vehicle.
September 8
-Officers conducted a traffic stop on County Line Rd for a speeding violation and arrested Ty Gilroy on outstanding warrants from Union and Montgomery counties.
-Officers responded to the Bluffton Middle School for a drug complaint. An employee from the school stated that he had found a baggie of marijuana near a rear door of the building.
-Officers again responded to a N. Lawn Ave. residence in regard to an ongoing neighbor dispute.
September 9
-Police responded to a SR 103 business in regards to a criminal damaging complaint.
-Officers responded to a non-injury traffic crash in the 100 block of S. Jackson St. Nancy Caskie, 53, Bluffton was issued a citation for Failure to Yield the Right of Way. The case is pending in Bluffton Mayor's Court.
September 10
-Officers checked on a semi that appeared to have been abandoned at a SR 103 Business.
September 12
-Officers responded to Bluffton University in regards to a possible drug overdose.
September 13
-A N. Main St. business reported someone passing bad checks at the business.
September 14
-Police responded to the area of I-75/SR103 in response to a complaint that someone had jumped out of a vehicle. Upon arrival officers spoke with a male subject from Sylvania and discovered that he was possibly suicidal and transported him to Lima for assistance.
-A Vance St. Business reported someone passing bad checks at the business.
September 16
-Officers assisted ACSO with a traffic stop on I-75.
-Police received a telephone harassment complaint from a Greding St resident.
September 18
-Police responded to Bluffton University and took a complaint of several vehicles having been egged sometime the previous evening.
-Police arrested Amanda Slayter, 24, Findlay for DUS following a traffic stop on SR 103 for numerous equipment violations. The case is pending in Findlay Municipal Court.
September 20
-Police arrested Jimmy Kirkwood, 51, of New Paris, Indiana, for DUS following a traffic stop on SR 103 for driving without headlights on. The case is pending in Findlay Municipal Court.
September 21
-Police received a telephone harassment complaint from an Eastland Dr. resident.
September 23
-Officers responded to a non-injury traffic crash in the 500 block of SR 103. A 17-year-old Bluffton male was issued a citation for failure to stop at sidewalk area. The case is pending in Hancock County Juvenile Court.
September 25
-Officers arrested Michael Patronite, 23, Lima for OVI following an investigative stop on SR 103 after observing the vehicle behind a closed business. The case is pending in Findlay Municipal Court.
-Police took a report of a lost cell phone from a Vanlue resident.
September 26
-Police arrested Nathan Szilagye, 21, Lima for DUS following a traffic stop on SR 103 for a turn signal violation. The case is pending in Findlay Municipal Court.
