Next library book discussion March 3 at Common Grounds

It's not too late to join the early March book discussion at Common Grounds. Read "Teach with Your Heart," by Erin Gruwell and join community members for a friendly, informal discussion at Common Grounds in Bluffton at 6:30 p.m., Wednesday, March 3. Advance registration is requested.

Bluffton Diamond Sports sign-up starts Saturday

Spring and summer baseball and softball sign-ups for Bluffton Diamond Sports are just around the corner.

Registration forms may be picked up at the elementary school or middle school offices. Forms are also available at the three dates where they are to be turned in. The forms are for boys ages 7 to 14 and girls ages 8 to 14.

Community meals March 4 and 18

Two community meals are planned in March by the Bluffton Area Ministerial Association. Both meals are open to the public and are held at the Bluffton Senior Citizens Center, 132 N. Main St. The meals begin at 6 p.m. Donates support the Bluffton Community Assistance Program's food pantry.

Ireland photos shown at Senior Center noon luncheon

Bluffton senior citizens will view photographs of the association's trip to Ireland last summer during its March dinner meeting.

The meeting is at noon, Monday, March 8, at the Senior Citizen Center, 132 N. Main St. Three members of the association will be recognized for their 90th birthdays. They are Methel Benroth, Dorothy Williams and Harold Balmer. The program's master of ceremonies is Barbara Shinabery; hostesses, Dortha Radabaugh and friends.

March activities

Wednesday, March 3, from 10 a.m. to noon, the monthly blood pressure clinic.
