Icon bowl contest goes into tie-breaker round

The Bluffton Icon's holiday bowl football contest had a three-way tie for winners. A tie-breaker, however, is in the works.

The first round of winners include: Randy Garmatter, Matt Amstutz and Rick Emmert.

Those three will now pick the winners of the:

  • Compass Bowl (Pitt vs. Kentucky) played in Birmingham, Alabama on Jan. 8
  • Craft Bowl (Boston College vs. Nevada) played in San Francisco, California, on Jan. 9
  • Tostitos Bowl (Auburn vs. Oregon) played in Glendale, Arizona, on Jan. 10.

As an ultimate tie-breaker, if necessary, each will predict the half-time score of the Auburn-Oregon contest.

Here's the individual wins by each contestant in the contest.
