Bluffton's favorite holiday is Saturday, Nov. 28

The annual Blaze of Lights, sponsored by the Bluffton Area Chamber of Commerce, which draws hundreds of persons to the community is Saturday, Nov. 28. Here's a summary of this year's events:

Parade:
4 p.m. - The parade forms at the Centre, 601 N. Main St.
4:55 p.m. - Streetscape ribbon cutting in front of the town hall
5 p.m. - Parade from the Centre to College Avenue
Parade marshals - Greg Conkling, Carlin Carpenter, Sam Diller

Day 3: Xbox 360

Microsoft is the only manufacturer to have a single console on the market, but don't think for a second that they haven't made their games a priority. Below are three tremendously interesting and creative titles available on Xbox 360 for the holidays. Sony is the only console manufacturer with three active platforms on the market, but with over 2,000 games available for the aging Playstation 2, picking three is practically impossible. This list will cover only the Playstation Portable (PSP) and Playstation 3. Day 2: PC Games

My earliest memory of playing video games at home is watching my brother play Space Invaders on our Texas Instruments TI-99 home computer. I was born in 1979 and the TI-99 was released in 1981, so the timeline fits pretty well. At any rate, for the next 25 years or so, I played all of my games on PC.

Columbus Crew camp comes to BFR in December

Columbus Crew Soccer Camp to be held at BFR Sports and Fitness Center, according to Carole Enneking, director. BFR's annual Columbus Crew camp has been moved to December this year.

Youth ages 6 years to 15 years are welcome to register for the half-day day camp held at BFR. Jeremy Parkins, Bluffton High School graduate and past Crew player, will direct the camp. To register, log onto the Crew's website
