Ebenezer wild game night dinner features outdoorsman Gerry Caillouet

Outdoorsman Gerry Caillouet is this year's guest speaker at the wild game night dinner hosted by Ebenezer Mennonite Church.

Tickets are now on sale at the church for the Saturday, March 26, dinner and program. The event will take place in the church's Crossroads Ministry Center.

Caillouet hosts and produces God's Great Outdoors, an adventurous 25-minute weekly syndicated radio program. The program is known for its helpful tips regarding the outdoors and its reflection on the Christian walk.

The evening features appetizers at 5:30 p.m., including fresh water fish, elk, venison, buffalo, pheasant, salmon and others meats.

Dinner, featuring buffalo stroganoff, is at 6 p.m. Caillouet will speak at 7 p.m.

Several door prizes will be given including a deer mount from Augsburger's Taxidermy and a Parker Crossbow. Gary Lugibihl has donated a Ruger model 10/22 auto loading rifle as a door prize.

Pre-sale tickets are $10 each and are available until March 25 or until they are gone. There are a limited number of tickets available. No tickets will be sold the day of the dinner.

God's Great Outdoors has several outreach programs.

According to Caillouet: "Our goal is to help equip people on their trail to adventure. ^aEUR"It is our goal to share and encourage people to share with others the interests in the outdoor adventures we enjoy so much. Thus enabling our relationships to increase and provide common grounds from which to present the Gospel of Christ."

Each year God's Great Outdoors host events designed to give persons opportunities to learn, share and grow in their spiritual walk. The program hosts conferences to participating in men's fishing and hunting retreats across North America held in a Christian setting.
