Bluffton well represented in NCAA Division II indoor track championships

Three former Bluffton High athletes and a head track coach participated in the NCAA Division II indoor track and field national championships in Albuquerque, New Mexico, held March 11 and 12.
Shane Shockey of the University of Findlay, finished second in the pole vault with a vault of 16 feet 10 3/4 inches.
John Guagenti of the University of Findlay University, finished fifth as part of the 4x400 relay team.
Kendra Bassett of Ashland University, finished 11th in the pentalon.
Steve Bruskotter former head track coach at BHS is the vault coach at the University of Findlay.
