Bluffton Family Recreation's summer camp theme
Monday to Friday, July 6 - July 10
Explore the outdoors with the BFR summer camp staff. Camper activities include fishing, campfire cooking and camp ground preparation. Crafts include paper plate fans, butterfly feeders and pine cone bird feeders.
Daily schedule:
7:30 - 9:30 a.m. Pre-camp
9:30 a.m. -3:30 p.m. - Traditional camp
3:30-5:30 p.m. - Post camp
Bluffton Board of Zoning and Building Appeals will hold a public hearing Monday, July 6, at 7 p.m., in the town hall third floor community room.
The discussion centers on a resident at 356 S. Main St. request for a variance. The request is a dimensional variance from the required side yard and dwelling setback for the addition of a carport, according to Bryan Lloyd, assistant village administrator.

One of the former Steinman Lumber Company buildings is being devoured by progress this week. The building in question was at one time used to construct window frames in the late 1930s. The building faced Railroad Street near Cherry.
The library is closed on July 3 and 4 in observance of Independence Day.
Bluffton Public Library’s Summer Program, “Imagine Your Story,” continues through July and ends Aug. 15.
During this time, the digital Summer Reading Challenge continues on the library’s Beanstack webpage (with paper forms available for those unable to access the digital version), and the library continues to offer events and services online to provide support, education, and entertainment.
