Inside painting continues at Bluffton Hospital construction site
Progress continues on the Bluffton Hospital construction project. Here's the latest report on work being completed.
Last Week:
Outside:
The plumbing was able to make the final switch to the new water supply system. On Thursday morning, the fire sprinkler system was switched to the new system and, at the same time, the gas system was switched over.
The designers were also able to resolve some elevation problems so that driveway grading can continue.
Two story building:
The structural steel was set on the corridor to the second floor and the metal decking placed on it.
The canopy roofing was finished and work moved back to the main building replacing the temporary roof that took us through the winter.
The plastic wall covering that coats the walls everywhere was started.
Final coats of paint are on-going.
Flooring in the downstairs restrooms neared completion.
New Surgery Area:
Medical gas piping is completed and waiting on inspection next week.
Electrical and drywall sanding is complete.
