Jonathan Reuel and The Brilliant to play Tu Pueblo

Indie rock trio Jonathan Reuel and the Brilliant will play the back room of Tu Pueblo Mexican Restaurant, 142 N Main St, Bluffton, at 8 p.m. Saturday, April 30. There is a $5 cover charge.

Their sound is inspired by the energy of garage rock and the imagery ofpoet-songwriters like Paul Simon and

Bob Reuel has toured widely in the U.S. and Canada, opening for acts like Over the Rhine, the Psalters and
Trent Wagler and the Steel Wheels.

Several of Reuel's songs have been recorded by other artists, including "Water Fall on Me," which has become a grassroots success.

Electric Angel Studios producer Grant Beachy says of the latest album, The Watershed Project, "All real drums, all real everything. Hits hard. It is a fantastic album, from beginning to end."
